Worldbuilders 2012: Patrick Rothfuss
Once again this year, I'm helping Patrick Rothfuss spread the word about his favorite charity: Heifer International. In 2011, Rothfuss' efforts helped raised more than 310,000$ and he has raised the bar even higher for this year. But in order to achieve his objective, he needs our help.
To learn more about the myriad ways you can help Rothfuss raise funds and win cool stuff in the process, follow this link to Rothfuss' Worldbuilders 2012 page.
There are plenty of things going on, courtesy of Patrick Rothfuss and company, so do check out that main webpage. One thing you should all know about is that every 10$ donation gives you a chance to win SFF books (by GRRM, Richard Morgan, and more!). Many of them are autographed, out of print, or rare editions. To make a donation, simply follow this link.
Some of the most interesting things one can bid on in the various auctions being held are the professional critiques for aspiring authors. If you'd like to have your material read and critiqued by professional agents, editors, or SFF authors such as Patrick Rothfuss, Scott Lynch, and Bradley P. Beaulieu, follow this link to see what they have to offer!
And if you want to find out more about all the cool stuff you can bid on, check out this link. New items are added every couple of days, so do check out the auction page from time to time. . . =)
There will be more announcements in the coming weeks, but there is enough here to keep most SFF fans occupied for a little while, methinks! But this is just the beginning!
